One Song Grove: We're Building an Ancient Sacred Grove in Eastern TN

In August 2025... We did it! From raw, untouched land to our living, breathing home nestled in the sacred foothills of Eastern Tennessee's Blue Ridge Mountains. What began as a vision has become our reality, and this is just the beginning! WOOHOO!

A little backstory... In 2023, we purchased approximately 1.5 acres of undeveloped land in Jonesborough, Tennessee (fun fact: it's Tennessee's first town!), with nothing but a wild vision and, in our hearts, endless possibilities. The babbling brook that weaves its way through the property caught our hearts, along with the beauty of the landscape, the feeling of the Sacred Land itself... and so much more!

The process of getting into the home was extremely challenging and far from what we had envisioned. However, despite the significant difficulties we encountered due to the general contractor, far from an enjoyable process, we now live on this sacred ground!

We have carved a driveway through the forest landscape (which we could barely hike through), cleared space with profound reverence for every tree and living being (we've cried and honored with Earth, the trees, and all the beings to allow this to take place). We finally built our home and moved in August 2025 with a core intention of deep reverence for the land that called us here.

But this was not about building a home. It's about resurrecting the Sacred Groves of ancient times - those hallowed spaces where humans lived in perfect communion with the Earth, honoring and revering all of creation alongside the Eternal Living Source, the Origin Song that weaves into all of our Natural Living World (and within us all).

The Vision: We envision all the animals, birds, and other creatures being here in safety and comfort...

In a way, it's our Sacred Vision in what "Rebuilding Eden" could look like and feel like... One Song Grove is our answer to the call for bringing more places alive that allow us to anchor in FULL COHERENCE. A place that is safe and free from intrusion. Places that this realm is calling for, and many of us are answering.

We are part of those souls who are here to serve in a function: that function is to anchor and spiral in the Frequency of Source, the spiraling of the natural energies which have been called Holy Mother and Father (or the Divine Masculine and Feminine). We are here to serve as a node for stillness, a sanctuary, and a place where the Original Song of Eternal Living Source can be heard; transformation evolves from coherence... a symbol of the beautiful butterflies who reside here with us.

These lands in Tennessee, once held in sacred trust by the Cherokee and other Earth and Great Spirit-Loving tribes in the sovereign energy of the Southern Appalachian mountains, can be felt. We want to assist in restoring that energy to its highest purpose, which we know vibrated throughout these mountains in a "time before."

We want this to become a living temple where humans, animals, plants, and the Earth are not merely respected, but HONORED and REVERED.

Vision of a Total of Eight Pillars of Sacred Living

1. Reverence for the Earth and Ceremony: This One Song Grove is a small homesteading experience (at approx. 1.5 acres), but we are stepping into this all to consecrate this as a sacred space where divine energies can anchor and strengthen this realm through us and with others who join us here. We will hold ceremonies throughout the year to honor the land as it once was and as it is becoming. Every step we take is in recognition that we are here to be stewards, not owners, of this Sacred Earth.

2. Forge and Flow Sanctum: We will build this as a Digital Sacred Circle Gathering, but will also have a core focus for in-person gatherings. While we build deep roots in our local community, we will simultaneously weave an online sanctuary through our membership community. Like-hearted souls from across the realm gather here to learn the Inner Union of Sacred Energies, mirroring our in-person work.

3. A Hub for Stillness and Reflection: Additional structures will rise on this land as we can. Some small studios and spaces dedicated to workshops, mini retreats, and places where we can gather to hold space for our Vibrational Medicine framework (multidimensional wellness) for both humans and beloved dogs and cats. Here, we'll offer the ancient arts of Tai Chi and Qigong, herbal wisdom, flower essence healing, homeopathy, mineral rebalancing, and more! The core purpose is to plant a seed, hold a circle, and provide a quiet space for stillness, for it is through these quiet acts that the entire vibrational field is changed.

We envision acquiring powerful tools to assist, such as additional saunas, having a larger apothecary where other remedies can be made and purchased, while making these items accessible and affordable. We believe that this region yearns for authentic, natural healing centers, and we aim to collaborate with other pioneers in the area who are bringing this type of sacred work to the mountains.

4. The Regenerative Mini Forest Idea: Our flowers, food, and herb gardens will flourish without a single drop of poison ever touching this blessed soil. Here, we'll cultivate the medicines and nourishment for our herbal products and flower essences, while teaching what we learn about permaculture and regenerative practices that heal the Earth (and all things), rather than harm.

Beyond gardens, we envision cultivating a concept around a regenerative mini forest, offering this space as a living laboratory of a small "food forest." We aim to provide native species restoration that demonstrates how humans can actively heal the earth (and themselves) while providing abundance (for abundance is the TRUE STATE of this entire world!).

We hope that our mini forest will serve as an educational model for our community, showing how regenerative practices can transform landscapes and provide sustainable nourishment for generations. This land will serve to demonstrate what's possible when we work WITH nature instead of against her, creating ecosystems that give back more than they take.

5. The Mini Bee Sanctuary: Our winged allies already have their sacred home here; one dome-shaped home is waiting for the bees! We'll be creating dedicated spaces to honor and revere these essential BEE-ings, sharing the wisdom we learn about protecting and nurturing these magical creatures in sacred spaces. We already have one Sophia Hive set up and will plan to get our first swarm this year in 2026, so exciting!

6. Forge and Flow Creative Studio: We would like to revive the Ancient Crafts and will create a creative sanctum as a part of this that will expand far beyond our current Etsy shop offerings. We envision bringing in others to teach blacksmithing and other crafts, allowing us to learn together. The desire is to help bring forth those genuine, village-like experiences of primordial times; villages where craftspeople created beauty and utility in harmony with the land.

7. Sacred Soul Health Ministries: This is our Faith/Health Ministry Container for Divine Service; all of this work flows through our faith-based organization, Sacred Soul Health Ministries. We are non-denominational and have unshakeable FAITH that humanity and all organic creation will rise in divine harmony. Nothing can stop the return of the true magic of Divine Love!

Through this ministry, we're going to provide community outreach programs that embody the following:

• Community Food Distribution: Food assistance programs providing healthy, organic nourishment to families in need
• Sliding Scale Group and 1:1 Services: Making our workshops, healing sessions, and educational programs accessible regardless of economic circumstances
• Free and Lower Cost Community Workshops: Teaching herbal medicine, natural healing, gardening wisdom, and ancient wellness practices in our small "community centers" and also going into local Jonesborough schools, and other accessible venues that will welcome us
• Educational Outreach Programs: Bringing regenerative living skills, nutrition education, and sacred earth practices directly to the community

We have a pure desire to see every human and animal have access to healthy, chemical and toxin-free food and water, healing wisdom, and the resources they deserve!

8. An Educational Sanctum with the Function to Become a Resource: One Song Grove will serve as a beacon of accessible natural healing and education for Eastern Tennessee. Through free community workshops and educational outreach programs, we're breaking down barriers to healing, wisdom, and regenerative living skills. A sanctum as a living classroom where schools, community groups, and families can learn hands-on about working in harmony with natural systems (and themselves!).

This pillar ensures our sacred work radiates far beyond our acreage, seeding concepts of our practices and sharing our knowledge throughout our beloved Appalachian community.

Our Declaration: We desire to see the concept of Sacred Groves return, a place where humans once lived in perfect harmony with all of creation. Becoming "roots" where this New Grid of Earth is honored, where plants and animals are revered as the sacred teachers they are, and where humans feel that Eternal Living Source weaves into the very fabric of who they are...

We recognize that our vision is ambitious, and for now, we are implementing it gradually and incrementally. It is a significant undertaking that will require a considerable amount of time, energy, love, and, of course, financial resources. It will unfold over the years. But every day we live on this land, every structure we build with reverence, every garden bed we tend without chemicals, and every ceremony we hold, this anchors more coherence into a field in this fantastic (and challenging) time to be alive.

We will seek grants and other funding to help us build our dream to its full capacity, as we know that the ancient Sacred Groves are returning. Paradise is being rebuilt, one conscious acre at a time. We will be inviting other medicine-makers and soul-nourishing, aligned individuals to join us here, too, to offer their heart's work...
